The process is straightforward, and the visa typically allows for a stay of up to 30 days, which can be extended once you're in the country. The official currency is the Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR). It's advisable to carry some cash for small purchases, as not all places accept credit cards. ATMs are widely available in cities and tourist areas, but ensure you inform your bank of your travel plans to avoid any issues with card transactions.
